We’re delighted to welcome Hilary Pullen to the Folksy team. Hilary is known as Haptree around the web (and on Folksy) and is renowned as the person to go to if you’re a crafty person in need of some web assistance!
She manages Craft Blog UK – a blog directory with lots of blogging tips, tutorials and interviews with UK craft bloggers. It’s a great place to find craft news and connect with bloggers from your genre of crafting. She can also be found blogging at Haptree and me and on her personal website.
Hilary is joining us as Folksy’s Blogger in Chief. She will be working her magic on the Folksy blog, interviewing our sellers, bringing craft news and harnessing the wisdom of Folksy makers (and those elsewhere) to help everyone to get the most out of selling online. There is so much to learn – from improving your photos to surviving your first craft fair – that it will take months to cover it all!
We’d love to know what you’d like to hear more about in the way of hints and tips. Stumped by SEO? Baffled by business advice? Flummoxed by Folksy Fridays? Well here’s the place to start. Just get in touch if you have anything you would like to see here and Hilary will get right on to it. Over to you Hilary…!

Brilliant news for us all to have Hilary’s ‘Big Brain’ on the case :)
I bought the brain from stars n cars last night as a little memento – I’ll wear it when I’m blogging! Thanks for all the support everybody and the masses of tweets – my tweet deck has been singing at me all morning!
Congrats to Haptree! I have been fortunate enough to have received alot of advice from this great lady already and am looking forward to seeing her input on the Folksy blog.
Thank you for buying the pendant Hilary, it will be on it’s way to you tomorrow! It would be hard to make one as big as your real brain :) x
