This month we say a fond farewell to Toni, our Support staff.  Toni has worked hard at solving all your problems for the past year and as the first point of call for our users, she’s been the friendly and helpful face of the team.  We’d like to thank her for all her hard work, she’ll be missed by all at Folksy.

Joining us on the team will be Sian, you might know her as Siansburys on Folksy and we hope you’ll all offer her a warm welcome.  Sian will be based out of our office in Sheffield and will be answering all your support queries as well as choosing our featured sellers and items for the site.  Sian will also be helping Hilary in the forums.

    How are we doing?

We’d like to know if this sort of update is useful, so do give us your feedback on how we could improve. See you next month!

  1. I’ve enjoyed reading the above and do find it useful. Could you also in future comment on what type of shops are doing well just to give us an idea of whats selling well at the moment

  2. Sarah @ Folksy

Order figures are now attached – we were just waiting on our tech team to send them over so sorry for the delay!

  3. Thanks a lot. In the future I would like to see how many views my shop has a day or be able to look at some statistics-tools. Anyway I think you do an amazing job and look forward to see your innovative ideas.

  4. Thanks for the update, always interesting. I’d love a stat showing what percentage of sales go to buyers who don’t have their own Folksy shop. Would be a really good indicator of how successfully we’re reaching the wider world…

That’s great, particularly like the change from ‘Toys and Dolls’ to ‘Dolls and Collectables’.
Much more suitabale for my mohair bears as they are adults’ collectables.

  7. Frances

Great to read all the news. It would be really good to hear about your activities to publicise Folksy e.g mentions in the press. Bringing new shoppers to Folksy offers motivation to all us sellers.

Keep up the good work, thanks

  8. Thank you for the information, I always find it interesting looking at the figures and also being able to see which traders sold the most, as it gives us new ideas of ways to improve our shop!

    Thanks :~)

Any chance of being able to view how many times a particular item has been viewed?
