Fond farewell
This month we say a fond farewell to Toni, our Support staff. Toni has worked hard at solving all your problems for the past year and as the first point of call for our users, she’s been the friendly and helpful face of the team. We’d like to thank her for all her hard work, she’ll be missed by all at Folksy.
Joining us on the team will be Sian, you might know her as Siansburys on Folksy and we hope you’ll all offer her a warm welcome. Sian will be based out of our office in Sheffield and will be answering all your support queries as well as choosing our featured sellers and items for the site. Sian will also be helping Hilary in the forums.
How are we doing?
We’d like to know if this sort of update is useful, so do give us your feedback on how we could improve. See you next month!
:) The Folksy Team – James, Rob, Sarah, Doug, Andrew, Toni, Hilary and Sian.

I’ve enjoyed reading the above and do find it useful. Could you also in future comment on what type of shops are doing well just to give us an idea of whats selling well at the moment
Extremely useful thank you :-) It seems only yesterday that the folksy team was just James and Rob!
Thanks for all the hard work Toni – I will miss you lots :( xxx
Really useful. Interesting to see the stats, would be good to see sales and order figures.
Order figures are now attached – we were just waiting on our tech team to send them over so sorry for the delay!

Thanks a lot. In the future I would like to see how many views my shop has a day or be able to look at some statistics-tools. Anyway I think you do an amazing job and look forward to see your innovative ideas.
Thanks for this, it’s great to be kept up to date in this way!
Thanks for the feedback Karen, we’ll look into that!
Hi Dorota, here is some info you might find useful:

Using Google Analytics you can track the number of views to your shop, it’s a very useful addition!
Thanks

Thanks for the update, always interesting. I’d love a stat showing what percentage of sales go to buyers who don’t have their own Folksy shop. Would be a really good indicator of how successfully we’re reaching the wider world…
Thanks for that info. Find it very useful.

That’s great, particularly like the change from ‘Toys and Dolls’ to ‘Dolls and Collectables’.
Much more suitabale for my mohair bears as they are adults’ collectables.
Great info, it’s really nice to see that traffic has increased and orders are up. Thanks for the ACEO Category too much appreciated.
Great to read all the news. It would be really good to hear about your activities to publicise Folksy e.g mentions in the press. Bringing new shoppers to Folksy offers motivation to all us sellers.
Keep up the good work, thanks
Those statistics are amazing and really uplifting at this time when the country is having such financial difficulties.
I’ve noticed a lot more interest and sales from abroad in the past month – especially France.
Folksy – Thank you for all your good work!!!
:)
Thank you for the information, I always find it interesting looking at the figures and also being able to see which traders sold the most, as it gives us new ideas of ways to improve our shop!
Thanks :~)
Hi! Thanks for the update Folksy Team!
Any updates on having a separate ‘Supplies’ area?
Thanks for the update!
Any chance of being able to view how many times a particular item has been viewed?
Ohooo just seen this, someone just sent the link. Lovely post, and hearing my shop was visited quite a bit has really cheered me up :0) x
