By the sea…

Today I thought I’d celebrate the fact that I live by the sea. Being by the sea has had a great impact on my creative direction. I feel I am so lucky to be able to walk out of my front door and within 5 minutes I can be on the beach. I never get bored of walking along the shore as everyday it looks different. Everyday the tide throws up new jewels and finds. What could be more exciting!
The six items that I have chosen for this week remind me of the days I spend beach combing

Folksy SellerBridget Wilkinson – Beautiful handpainted watercolour and ink ‘By the Sea’ themed ACEO’s and Prints. These little pieces of Art are a great reminder of the beach and ocean life. I also love to promote creativity to all and so part of my shop is dedicated to ‘Make your Own’ Kits. It’s a wonderful gift, to be creative, and these lovely little kits will give each individual an opportunity to express themselves in their own unique way”

Oooo this weeks Folksy Friday is very eyecatching. I especially like the black stoneware bowl with the lovely swirl in the center!

Bridget you are very lucky to be by the sea especially on days like today when the sun is shining so bright. Sadly there are no beaches in Huddersfield :-(
