FEATURED SUPPLIER! – Astrid Weigel

You might already be familiar with Astrid Weigel’s work – her stunning mixed-media textile wall hangings and accessories feature flowers and birds, are wonderfully vivid, and definitely worth seeking out if you haven’t seen them before. As a fan, I was recently really excited to see, via Astrid’s Facebook page, that she is branching out into selling handprinted fabric for other people to use in their sewing.

The fabric is very much in Astrid’s style – the prints are bold, abstract shapes in bright colours & eyecatching monochrome, printed onto cotton cambric. There are different colourways for different patterns, and the two prints would also work together really well. There’s also some excellent discounts to be had if you buy more than one panel.
