We have been overwhelmed with the amount of wonderful Pinterest boards that have been created as part of our monthly Folksy Finds competition. It’s great to see the creativity that goes into compiling the collections, to see you discovering items we may not have come across ourselves and to celebrate the enormity of talent on Folksy through this very exciting new platform.

So, we’ve decided to make it an ongoing challenge. To encourage designers and makers to create Folksy Finds boards whenever they fancy. You can choose your own theme, be as quirky, as original and as creative as you like and each week, we’ll publish our favourites on the Folksy homepage, along with your name as curator. Now that’s pretty swanky don’t you think?

If you want to give it a go just ensure you choose a minimum of eighteen items from Folksy and use the words Folksy Finds in your board title somewhere – so that we can find it! And remember, the theme is entirely up to you. If your board is chosen to feature on the homepage we will let you know so that you can show it off to your buddies.

If you have any questions, give us a shout in the comments section. If not, pin away and have fun!

Hi, I created some boards a while ago and some of the items are no longer available to buy (although they are still displaying correctly when clicked). Can I still use these boards or do they have to contain items which are currently available to buy? Thanks

      Hi Martina,
It’s better if they are still for sale. We recommend creating boards with 16+ items in so that we have sufficient items for sale to draw on if your board is chosen, OK?
