OOooh I do love some good stats! Thanks for the info.
Good to know…and gives us something to aim for!
Very interesting stats for sellers. Good to see high ticket items are included although I accept the norm is a much lower transaction value (although higher than I expected).
Now, the usual response to getting good stats is of course to generate a shopping list of other stats (!!!).
So not wishing to disappoint, here’s mine!!:
Do your stats for traffic exclude Folksy shop keepers? Would such a thing be possible to measure? I hear that many sales are generated between shops but it would be valuable to see what percentage of searches and purchases are by shop keepers versus ‘new’ customers.
Also, would it ever be possible to let us know busiest days of the week for search enquiries and also busiest times?
Plus whether most successful purchases originate from Google, Folksy in-house search or any other customer journey.
As well as the stats you’ve already provided, the above could inform where I could target my promotions, ensuring the most traffic is driven at the best time. It would also be interesting for me to compare my personal google stats with the ‘site wide’ stats too.
Thanks again for this, it was very interesting and I am sure will be useful in times ahead.
All good questions, Heidi. We’ll see if we can get all those stats together for you in a follow-up blog post.
This reminds me I need to restock my Folksy site! Well done Folksy on a great year with some quality items
Last year I was top 250 seller… Now made the top 10… Hoping for another good year with Framedup!

It’s good to see Stats! I am surprised that I am number 4 on the quantity list. Hoping for another good year with Folksy :-)
Thank You, I love knowing all the statistics (I agree stats from busiest days, times, etc would be wonderful) and am also very happy and extremely excited to be included :o) I am a huge Folksy fan and can’t believe a hobby has turned into my full-time bonifidy occupation in which I support my 2 girls :o) Thank You Folksy and looking forward to whats to come in 2014 xxx
