Last week we launched a brand new Instagram feature called #studiofolksy, inviting Folksy sellers on Instagram to share their workspace with us. It’s a little sneak peek into the average working day of our sellers. Often people purchase something from Folksy without thinking too much about the processes behind each item, such as the person who made it, their day, the place it was made etc. At Folksy, we love to tell that story because we feel it’s an important part of buying handmade.
So, over on Instagram (we are @folksyhq by the way) we would love you to share with us your studio, warts and all. Tell us your story. Do you have a designated studio space or workshop? Do you use the kitchen table? Or perhaps you have a space in the corner of your lounge? We would love to see it. Just tag your image on Instagram with #studiofolksy and @folksyhq so we can find you. We will feature your images on our Instagram feed. Here are some of our favourite #folksyhq posts from last week from Alison Bick Design, I Am Acrylic, The Log Basket and MTS.dsn.
