How to curate your own Folksy Pinterest board
We love to see what you love. So why not create a Pinterest board featuring lovely things on Folksy? It could be a board dedicated to a particular theme, craft or event, or just a wish list of things you would most like in the world for your birthday.
We will share our favourite boards on our social media channels and if they’re really good, we might feature them in our gift guides or possibly even in our newsletter, with a link to your Folksy shop as the curator.

If that sounds fun, here’s what you need to do:
- Come up with a great theme – for example, ‘An Easter Table’, ‘My Funny Valentine’, ‘Lovely Leaves‘, ‘Scandi Interiors’, ‘Handmade Wedding Favours’, ‘Sunday Lunch’.
- Create a board on Pinterest.
- Pin things from Folksy that fit your theme. (You can do that directly from any listing/product page on Folksy using the ‘Pin It’ button or by using the Pinterest browser button. Learn how to Pin from the web here – https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/add-pins-from-the-web)
- Tell us about your new Pinterest board by tweeting us at @Folksy , posting it in the Folksy Clubhouse Facebook Group or sharing it on our Folksy Forum in this thread ‘Show Us Your Pinterest Boards‘
As well as lots of wonderful items from Folksy, your boards can also be sprinkled with recipes, DIY craft tutorials, pictures and photographs from across the internet, as long as they don’t include products from (or links to) other shopping platforms or marketplaces.
What makes a good board?
When choosing boards to feature on Folksy, we look for interesting, inspiring, seasonal and relevant themes with great images. We like to see a mix of pins – anything from products, DIY tutorials, photos, recipes, inspirational quotes, home styling, travel destinations – but all boards need to include at least 12 items from Folksy.com. The products you choose need to:
- be available for sale on Folksy
- have good product images
- work together as a theme
Your board must not include products from other shopping platforms or websites.
If your Pinterest board is chosen to be featured as a gift guide on Folksy, we will credit you by name, along with a link to your Folksy shop.
There is no limit to the number of boards you can submit, so keep them coming!
Some examples of good boards
Here are two examples of Pinterest boards created by Folksy sellers Sianuska and Sally and the Freckles, which we loved. Both these boards made it into our gift guides and were also featured in our Folksy Weekly newsletter. We loved their mix of different types of pins, the quality of product shots included, the consistency and the original theme.
