In case you haven’t heard, one of our favourite magazines, Oh Comely, has a new editor. And it’s none other than Lara Watson. Yes, the actual Lara Watson of Mollie Makes fame! This is a very exciting thing. We love what she did at Mollie so we’re really looking forward to see the magic she’ll bring to the already wonderful pages of Oh Comely.

To toast Ms Watson’s arrival, we’re offering Folksy sellers the chance to star in the pages of the June/July issue.

For a rate of £200, Folksy sellers will receive a Quarter Page feature in the magazine as well as a plug on the Oh Comely website (because it’s always nice to have extra links into your shop). That’s a 20% discount on the normal rate of £250 – with the added benefit of being plugged on the website too – and the chance to reach an audience of 45,000 creative consumers!

Oh Comely is the magazine for creative women – a great mix of interesting words and beautiful pictures, stylishly presented and much loved by its readers. It provides an alternative to the ‘pile-it-high-sell-it-cheap’ aesthetic of mainstream magazines for women, and this is why it has carved a loyal niche of fans.

The theme for the June/July issue of Oh Comely is ‘Adventure’ and will cover an array of hidden treasures and curiosities, as well as some creative fashion and women who changed the world.

You can find the magazine on the shelves of national retailers and from this April it will be stocked in an additional 2,000 independent shops, galleries and bookshops across the UK.
