The weaving classes at The London Loom are a chance to play with colour and texture on a floor loom or a handheld loom. “Our weaving classes are good for the soul – like chicken soup, but with yarn.” A few hours on their looms and chances are you’ll feel calmer and seriously satisfied… plus you’ll leave with a substantial piece of woven cloth of your own creation.
At The London Loom we want you to play with colour and texture in your weaving to create fabric that reflects your unique self. It’s basically therapy, but better, because of all the yarn (did we mention the yarn?).
The London Loom are also offering all Folksy blog readers a 10% discount on their Japanese Freestyle weaving studio classes. This is a two-hour class in which students are taught to use floor looms to create a wall hanging or piece of woven cloth. This class is usually priced at £60 –use the code folksy for 10% off when you book the Japanese Freestyle weaving workshop.
