Hello. The past week has been pretty hectic after the mention in The Guardian our traffic spiked and well, we seem to have got lots more buyers and sellers on board (hello, again!). This has come at the cost of slowing the site down a bit and at our resources being pulled away from support into other areas. We’re migrating Folksy on to a new server infrastructure this week that will help to deal with the increased demand and we’re shifting resources from testing International Shipping (which has gone well – only the odd amend and will launch early next week) into answering your emails. If you have emailed in the last week or so and not received a reply we’re *very* sorry. We’re on it…
12th March UPDATE: the migration was successful and anecdotal evidence (and our own testing) is showing some noticeable speed increases. Yay!

Looking on the bright side (I’m such a Pollyanna!) I suppose it’s good that this “Guardian” spike happened before you launched international sales and are still in beta so you can really focus on sorting everything out while still a small-ish community. Otherwise it could have been disastrous. Good luck with smoothing all the forum feathers!
Thanks James – it’s good to know you haven’t vanished into the ether ;-)
The migration has been done. Lets see how we get on …
