Kicking up a Storm…
21st May 1950 : Violent storms and a tornado devastate southern England causing damage to property around London. The tornado touched down in late afternoon in Linslade, Buckinghamshire. The tornado travelled 66 miles and remains the longest trail on record for a tornado in England leaving hundreds of rooves damaged in its path and lifting cars, cattle and horses.
It has been 60 years since that devastating storm and the weather is still the most popular conversation topic in the UK. This selection of items by Folksy sellers are certainly kicking up a storm. Click on the photo if you want to know more about an item featured in this Folksy Friday selection.

Yes, we always end up talking about the weather don’t we?! Some great items, the earrings are lovely, Di x
LOVE the storm in a tea cup! Great choices.
great to see a new fresh look to the blog!
great picks, love the storm in a tea cup too!
I really enjoy how Julia gives a little info snippet with her FF’s. Great theme & items – I’ve just read the description for the storm soap – sounds delicious! x
Shaz – that’s why we picked her for the first week, reading her ff’s is a little like one of those novels that starts right in the thick of the action – leaves you a bit confused at first but certainly grabs your attention!
What a great ff. I love the soap and the fox is very cute.
What a great idea! I really like that ‘rain storm’ embroidered picture – lovely.
Great blog and choices, I like Bonbi forest shop lovely shirts.

I received one of Hepsibah’s delightful pictures recently, as a birthday present, and am thrilled with it.

Well done, Julia. Lovely selection and nice post. :-) My particular favourite is the pair of earrings.
