Take a look here if you would like to know more about Folksy Fridays – we’ll be picking a member of Folksy to guest post on this blog every week!
This week it’s the turn of Vicky from Stars and Scars. Vicky studied jewellery design and silversmithing at University where she was taught to use not only traditional materials and techniques but encouraged to explore more unusual designs. You will find many non traditional materials, plastic, paper and found objects over at her shop and facebook page
The Summer of Love…
…because it is summer (although it doesn’t feel like it sometimes!) and because these sellers all need some love… they have all had less than five sales (me included!). These items remind me of summer, from days out at the seaside with my family, to lazing in the garden amongst the flowers and butterflies. Hope you enjoy :), just click the images for more details:

We chose Vicky this week because she has been working really hard to bring Folksy Friday to facebook, showing that you don’t need a blog to get involved! Take a look at her previous Folksy Friday’s here. Remember to post your Folksy Friday’s over at the Folksy facebook page as well as on our mammoth Folksy Forum thread that is started by one of the Folksy Friday early birds every week.
You can also simply tag your facebook page updates (listings, Foksy Fridays, crafty news) with @folksy and it will magically appear on our facebook wall! – a great way of sharing your news with all of our facebook fans and sharing Folksy with all of yours too!
Thanks for all your support tweeting, blogging and facebooking Folksy recently – as usual we’ll be tweeting up your FF’s and looking out for next Friday’s guest blogger all day!
