For this week’s Folksy Friday, I’ve been inspired by a link I saw on Twitter to a shop called Scrubbity which sells simple but beautiful crochet wash cloths that can be used for pretty much anything you like, from your face, to your pots and pans! I loved the cloths so much I wanted to make sure they were included in this Folksy Friday post, so I have built the theme of Squeaky Clean around them. I have searched the site for some wonderful wash day and housework essentials. We have the cloths, of course, from Scrubbity; a lovely dish by Charlotte Hupfield that would make a beautiful and interesting soap dish; some luxurious soap from Soapure; a fabulous vintage fabric apron from Audrey’s Cat; some dotty clothes pegs from Ticketty Boo, for hanging out all that lovely fresh clean laundry; and finally some adorable ‘wee’ mice from Quernus Crafts – for the ‘Squeak’ you get when things are super-clean! I hope you enjoy my choices.
