Baa Baa Black Sheep…

‘My Folksy Friday theme for this week was inspired by the Masham Sheep Fair, an annual gathering of sheep breeders and enthusiasts at Masham in North Yorkshire, a town long famed for sheep trading. The town is also famous for it’s breweries – Theakstons and of course Black Sheep. Over the weekend of 25th & 26th September sheep will be shown and raced, fleeces will be sold, morris dancers will dance, sheepdog handlers’ skills will be demonstrated and the breweries will be open to visitors, all raising money for charities. Unfortunately I can’t make it this year, but here is a selection of all things black and sheepy!’

What a great theme! And I’ve just noticed whilst flicking through the blog that my dreads are featured in it – thank you so much!
