OK I admit it, I’m a ‘Font-O-Phile’…
… I don’t think there’s such a word in the dictionary?? But I just love typography, lettering and all visual aspects of symbols and words! Typography and lettering can be so powerful at times often not needing any additional images to convey a message.
These days everything that can be made can be personalised and so it becomes even more meaningful to the receiver of the gift! It’s almost as if you take an active part in the making process. By you having the opportunity to interact with a maker it’s as if you can take the creative driving seat and decide on the colour or the lettering style etc you want for that special gift etc.
So I’ve focused on words and letters for this Folksy Friday to show you how creative and varied a team of makers we have on this wonderful site. I love it and I hope you’ve enjoyed my Folksy Friday too!
