With lots of you testing the new shop fronts and some other unrelated bugs (Twitter icon, anyone?), Support tickets have been coming in at a 30% higher rate than the normal in the last 7 days and so this week has mostly been hectic.
At one point, Doug was using 3 computers at once. This seems so long ago now that I can’t remember what he was doing but, shortly after this picture was taken, something was fixed and someone made a celebratory pot of tea.
We’re getting through the tickets and bugs as quickly as possible and we’re really grateful to everyone for being so patient with us!
In non-Support related news, having made submitting your Pinterest Boards for the Folksy front page easier, we’ve had some more unusual themes this week, which have been fun to look through! We’ve also added new Gift Guides to the homepage carousel and, over the coming weeks, we’ll be analysing the stats to see how these fare so that we can make sure they’re doing their job of driving more visits and more purchases. A few people have asked how to get into a gift guide on the forums. If you’re still unsure, I answered here.
Back to it – here’s James and Camilla (and Doug on video call) racing through the workstack on the Kanban board. It’s blurred because everyone was moving so fast.
Meanwhile, it’s the Knitting & Stitching Show this weekend – if you’re there, let us know how it goes and if you spot any Folksy sellers!
