The whistle-stop Folksy workshop tour

Last week we (that’s James and me, Camilla) took the Folksy Business In A Day Workshops on a whistle-stop tour of the UK, starting in Sheffield, mingling with the fashionistas of London Fashion Week at Somerset House (or if not exactly mingling, then at least catching glimpses of them from the window), and ending within mooching distance of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. We met loads of great makers, all at different stages of their business, talked pricing, products and target customers, and considered the importance of being niche – all punctuated by biscuits, tea and cake.  Keep your eyes peeled for more workshops and courses in the future.
