Creative Family Home – giveaway

by Camilla

Last Christmas, I gave my heart to this book. Creative Family Home by Ashlyn Gibson was top of my wishlist, and I dropped hints, added it to my basket, pinned pictures from it, bought copies for other people, and then finally gave up waiting and wishing and gave myself one. Even though it didn’t come gift wrapped under the tree (and was from me to me) it was probably my favourite present, and since then I’ve scoured it for inspiration and ideas on an almost daily basis. So I’m really thrilled that we’ve managed to get our hands on three copies to give away.

These homes are beacons of originality, where ingenuity outshines big budgets and money plays second fiddle to imaginative flair.

– Ashlyn Gibson

Creative Family Home takes you into the homes of 13 families where imagination, colour and creativity rule. You hear from the children who live there, as they share their favourite bits about their rooms. Like Casper and Leo, who tell us: “Our room is the monster office. You’re only allowed in if you know how to make dens and create monsters.”

But it’s not just about the kids. There are loads of ideas for lovers of colour clashes, print and pattern, and collectors of vintage finds and curiosities from the homes of influential creatives like Camilla Ebrup of Lucky Boy Sunday.

This book is definitely one of the most well-thumbed in our house. So if you too wished and wished, but still don’t have this book on your shelves, here’s your chance!
