The snowdrops are starting to poke their heads through the snow and the soil, which means it’s time to start dreaming about warm Spring days… and The Country Living Magazine Spring Fair. The fair will be in full bloom from 18-22 March at the Business Design Centre in Islington, and promises to be full of inspiration for the house and garden, and creative ways to bring the countryside into the home.
There will be food, furniture and fashion from independent designers and artisan makers, expert demonstrations, and hands-on workshops to encourage your own creativity. Green & Black’s will be there to tempt you with their sensational organic chocolate, as will Lucy Summers, who will be planting the roof of a 70s VW Camper Van with delicious fruits and vegetables.

My favourite thing about spring is the culmination of the start of long evenings, the smell of freshly cut grass and daffodils….perfect :)
The thing I love most about spring is seeing the daffodils growing on the grassy verges of roads – really makes me smile! Spring blooms are so uplifting :)
Daylight growing, birds chirping, bulbs budding
Spring is here :)
Daffodils, closely followed by going to work AND coming home in daylight.
Feelin the cool air, and warmth of natural energy, it revitalises the soul.
My favourite thing about spring is all the growth and new life. Bulbs are opening, blossom on trees and birds are making nests/ hatching!!!
My favourite thing about spring is everything starting to grow in the garden, snowdrops, daffodils beginning to bloom, the sun beginning to shine and everything feeling lighter and brighter
I love the sunny, fresh mornings you get with Spring – where you can feel the sun is getting stronger but there’s still a whisper of winter in the air :)
My favourite thing about spring is the promise it holds – of longer, warmer days; the promise of new life with chicks and lambs, and the blooming of flowers.
My favourite thing about spring is seeing all of the new baby animals and feeling a new burst of creative energy. That and the Easter eggs, actually maybe just Easter :)
I love so many different things about this season. I particularly love that the days get longer and warmer!
I love the promise it brings, the hope, beauty and the new creativeness and imagination it gives me as a person. Spring always drives me into gear to bring out my creative side and start the many hopeful projects that I’ve been looking forward to starting all winter.x
My favourite thing about Spring is London in the springtime – wandering through one of the Royal parks, with a coffee in my hand and the sun on my face, looking at the crocus’ and daffodils. There’s nothing like it!
I love the extra light the days start to get, with a bit of extra sunshine and a touch of warmth!
The feeling of everything waking from a gentle slumber and the promise of warm days #happiness
Firstly thanks for a lovely giveaway, I love the Country Living Fairs.
I love the very early mornings in the spring… the dawn chorus (welcome back birds!) and the accompanying smells of the different flowers. Warm balmy evenings are just an added bonus :) x
I love spring because it renews my belief in myself: if a dry, bleak-looking shrub can blossom with colour and new growth, then so can I!
what I love about spring? I love the new beginnings, the fresh colours, the crisp sun, the smell of first flowers, the first bees buzzing around, the promise of warm weather coming soon.. It’s a wonderful positive time of the year <3
Favourite thing about spring… The smell in the air, the optimism I get when the weather starts to warm up and the urge to beautify myself and my home.
I love long walks with the dog and my wife in the bluebell filled woods, with the woodpeckers in the background, knowing we can still snuggle up and be cosy at home.
Spring is a beautiful time of year, when I come out of the darkness and chill into the promise of light, warmth and new life. It’s a creative time for me which I look forward to very much.
I love getting back out in my garden and planting my veggies for the year, also it’s when I start skydiving again as the weather gets warmer (I’m a fair weather jumper ;-)) love the spring! :-D
In spring I love absolutely everything about nature!
My favourite thing about spring is more birds in my garden and squirrels picking at the nuts.
The light is my fave thing about spring. I love it when the light pours in through the window and bathes everything in a bright warming light, promising of warmer days to come :)
the evenings getting lighter longer…and the spring blooms appearing….lovely
I just adore the scent of hyacinths – outdoors and in.
