Make this year a Merry Craftmas…
Wouldn’t it be great if this year as well making Christmas dinner, everyone made some craft? Imagine the scene: sprouts have all been eaten (or hidden under forks), pud has been set fire to, the Queen has spoken, and, with the smell of fresh fir tree and Terry’s Chocolate Orange lingering in the air, the whole family gets out their knitting needles.
Mince pies, mulled wine and making – the perfect combination!
… by making a Merry Craftmas picture we can share!
To spread the craft love this season, we’re asking you to get creative and make a picture on the theme of Merry Craftmas. It can be anything you like – cross-stitch, embroidery, illustration, screen print, lino print, photograph, digital design – it just needs to include the words Merry Craftmas.
Then throughout December we’ll share your pictures on our social channels – with a link to your shop / blog / Instagram account or whatever you want to show the world!
Here’s what you need to do:
- Create an image on the theme ‘Merry Craftmas’. (Ideally all images should measure 800 pixels wide, and they can be either square or portrait format.)
- Show us your image by posting it on Twitter or Instagram, and tagging it #merrycraftmas
- If you’re not on Twitter or Instagram you can email your picture to us at email@example.com instead. (Don’t forget to tell us who you are and where you’d like us to link to!)
We want to get as many people making and crafting as possible – you don’t need to be a Folksy seller, just someone who loves to create! We can’t wait to see all your pictures. Merry Craftmas to one and all!
