This Christmas, we’ve created a very special minizine to celebrate all things handmade. Christmas on Folksy features tutorials, festive decoration ideas, the prettiest of presents and a gorgeous front cover illustrated especially for us by Sarah Papworth.
You can get your very own mini print version of the Folksy Christmas Magazine for 20p (plus postage) here (it’s just a small fee to cover postage and packaging). There’s also an online version with extra craft tutorials, interviews and features that you can read for free – including a needle-felted reindeer tutorial by Fi Oberon, ideas for your winter table by stylist Hannah Bullivant and a super clever way to make DIY baubles from old light bulbs by Holly Becker from Decor8.
Our mini magazine was printed by Newspaper Club – a thousand festive thanks to them for making all our Christmas dreams come true. We really love our mini magazine and were thrilled to be able to hand it out to everyone who came to the Weekend of the Maker in Sheffield in November. Now, due to popular demand, we’re also able to offer ‘A Folksy Christmas’ by post!

Gorgeous. What a beautiful magazine .Wish I could get my hands on a printed copy….especially as I noticed a pair of my earrings in there. What a joy. Thank you Folksy people.
How have you decided which makers items appear in the Christmas magazine?
Do you not think that if you show preference for certain makers you are unfairly promoting these makers and their products.
I know you cannot show everybody’s products therefore you should not show any preference and not show any at all.
