My favourite gifts for dog lovers
I’m Jackie, the designer behind Forever Foxed. I love dogs, particularly terriers, and I love seeing dog-related designs on Folksy, so I was thrilled to be asked to compile a list of my current favourites. With Christmas approaching I hope this selection includes items that you would be delighted to see under your tree. I know I would!
Tuba Dog Brooch by Gary Boller
This wooden Tuba Dog Brooch made me laugh and would certainly liven up your jacket. It is part of a range of other “Hot Dogs” designs, all of which I love.
Dog on Wheels II by Caroline Nuttall-Smith
I’m always a bit of a sucker for anything featuring vintage toys, especially dogs on wheels. I have a few toys like this in my collection. This is the second of Caroline’s linocut prints featuring a dog on wheels and both are delightful.
Love Me, Love My Dogs Cushion by LEAPUP
An adorable cushion for all dog lovers, also part of a range featuring dog (and cat) slogans.
Dog Birch Wood Linocut Christmas Decorations by Woah There Pickle
It wouldn’t be Christmas without some doggie decorations, would it? These pair are handprinted from linocuts, and I know I’d like to have them hanging from my tree.
Wire Fox Terrier Dog by Little Ram Studio
Another linocut, featuring my very favourite breed of dog. I know I’m a bit biased towards terriers, but I love this print and all the others in the series.
Sausage Dog Sticker by Hofficraft
An adorable vinyl sticker, would look great stuck on a laptop! You can’t beat a shiny dog sticker, in my humble opinion.
Free Hugs Dog Tote Bag by Snappy Crocodile Designs
A lovely and practical gift for a dog lover. The bag is made from natural cotton with black vinyl lettering. You can never have too many tote bags, especially if they are dog related.
Paw Print Earrings by Huiyi Tan
Sterling Silver pawprint studs, a pawsome gift.
Wooden French Bulldog Hair Grips by Ginger Pickle
A really cute doggy accessory. French Bulldogs seem to be so popular at the moment and I do have a bit of a soft spot for them.
