Are you taking part in the 12 Days of Folksy challenge? Every day we’re giving away some incredible prizes, designed and made by the makers featured in our animated film, Mr Mouse and his Handmade House, which has been created for us by Leanne Warren from LeapUp as part of the 12 Days of Folksy, and features a little introverted mouse made especially for us by Amanda Barnes.
Have a look at all the beautiful pieces you could win below. To be in with a chance of winning, simply share a post on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on that day’s theme (find these at the bottom of this post) and add the #12daysofFolksy hashtag to your caption – to grab our attention you can also tag us @folksyHQ and @LeapUp. At the end of our every day we’ll look through all the posts on the hashtag and choose our favourite – they will win that day’s prize!
Running alongside the main giveaway is another prize for the best animal-themed post of the day judged by Leanne. The winner of that prize will win a set of postcards featuring stills from our Mr Mouse and his Handmade House animation. We’ll announce the winners of the giveaway on Instagram and Facebook, and also feature the winning picture here.

I paint cards for my family and friends. In recent years I’ve painted cards to raise money for charities close to my heart. I was completely bowled over by the response to these and it made me think, ‘maybe I could do this more’. So I’m creating designs this year to print next Christmas and raise money for even more good causes. In the meantime the Hooi family shall still be getting their handmade cards, along with this little fella. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.’
