Updates to Shipping Regions on Folksy

This week we’ve updated the Shipping Regions on Folksy to correspond to the changes Royal Mail has made to its International Zones and account for the increased price in postage to the United States. The United States is now in its own shipping zone – in line with the Royal Mail’s new World Zone 3 – and Canada has moved into ‘Rest of the World’.

The Shipping Zones available on Folksy are now:

United Kingdom

Europe
This includes: Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, France, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, Latvia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar

United States

Rest Of The World
This includes: Canada, South America, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East and South East Asia (all in Royal Mail World Zone 1); and Australia, Belau, British Indian Ocean Territory, Christmas Island, Cocos Islands, Cook Island, Coral Sea Island, Fiji, French Polynesia, French South Antarctic Territory, Keeling, Kiribati, Macao, Nauru Island, New Caledonia, New Zealand, New Zealand, Antarctic Territory, Niue Island, Norfolk Island, Norwegian Antarctic Territory, Papua New Guinea, People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, Pitcairn Island, Republic of Singapore, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Tokelau Islands, TongaTuvalu, US Samoa, Western Samoa (all in Royal Mail World Zone 2)

To update your Shipping Regions on Folksy…

If you need to update your prices in line with the revised shipping regions and increase in the cost of postage to the United States, you can do that using our ‘Bulk Edit’ feature. To do this quickly:

  • log into your Folksy account
  • go to your Dashboard
  • under Items click Bulk Edit Listings
  • select the items you would like to change
  • click Set Postage Costs
  • set your new shipping costs
  • press Save
