Melanie is a needle felt artist based in West Sussex, where she lives with her husband and two chihuahuas. Melanie has always been an artist, starting with watercolours then moving on to pencil drawings. A few years ago she was given her first needle felting kit and was so inspired that she turned her craft into a career, starting Flora and Fauna Felts! She said, “I could not believe what a lovely material the wool was to work with and that your imagination could just run wild!”. Her beautiful creations are made from 100% British wool and are inspired by her walks in her local nature reserve and her love for gardening.
