Right. Update, update…
So, last week was interesting. So interesting, in fact, that Doug cancelled his holiday and came back to work a day early. Thanks Doug.
Meanwhile, Folksy seller Jane O’Neill from Abundant Glass was on Countryfile and had a super-busy week, making her 500th sale on June 23rd! You can catch Jane’s appearance for the next six days on BBC iPlayer (starts at around 37 mins in).
Camilla, James A (in an unofficial Folksy capacity), and I attended various events as part of Sheffield Design Week. Highlights included some entertaining and inspiring talks by artist Dominic Wilcox (check out his ‘No Place Like Home’ GPS shoes), designers Pearson Lloyd who showed us how good signposting can affect changes in behaviour, and the hugely influential graphic artist Anthony Burrill.
Plus, Camilla’s kids had a go on Brian Trevaskiss’ pedal-powered printing press on Saturday! Slightly jealous.
Mostly listening to:
- New favourite office radio station BAGeL Radio
- Someone sandblasting the office across the road
- Doughnut cake. What’s that on the top? Yeah, it’s doughnuts.
